As a convener and facilitator, FIRST 5 is committed to bringing together individuals, public agencies and community based organizations creating a Learning Community that values systems evolution, continuous quality improvement and workforce development. It is our shared vision that, in time, these FIRST 5 funded community based organizations and public agencies will develop partnerships throughout Santa Clara County that will provide a system of care for all families with young children, regardless of geographic location, language, or special needs.
"We could never have loved the earth so well if we had had no childhood in it." George Eliot, The Mill on the Floss, 1860
