The Learning Institute - Department of Alcohol and Drug Services and the Mental Health Department Present

Cultural Competence – Core Foundation Training.

This one-day training is mandatory for all County and Contractor staff.  You will need to sign-up for one of the trainings listed below:

• Tuesday, April 21, 2009        9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Monday, May 11, 2009         9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 26, 2009         9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 9, 2009          9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  
  

Cultural Complexities in Assessment, Diagnosis and Engagement.

This one-day training is also mandatory for all County and Contractor clinical staff (MD’s, RN’s, PSW’s, MFT’s, Rehab. Counselors, etc…).* All clinical staff will need to sign-up for one of the trainings listed below:

• Monday, May 4, 2009           9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Monday, May 18, 2009         9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 16, 2009        9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  
  

* Please note that all clinical staff will need to attend the Cultural Competence – Core Foundation Training and the Cultural Complexities in Assessment, Diagnosis and Engagement training.

All trainings will take place at the Masonic Center, 2500 Masonic Drive, San Jose.
