Come to a FREE Community Arts Day (Dia de las Artes Communidad) at the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) at Finn Center on Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 11 am – 3 pm. The event is co-sponsored by FIRST 5 Santa Clara County* and CSMA**. The Mercury News is the event’s Official Newspaper Sponsor, with additional support from Bay Area Parent, Los Altos Town Crier, and Mountain View Voice.

Community Arts Day for pre-school/young children and their families will include: hands-on music and arts activities; mural and face painting; family sing-alongs; hands-on marimba; clown/balloon artist Twinkie DeeStar; concerts (12:30 pm & 2 pm) with “Daffy Dave”; children’s info (health, safety, education) booths; special goodies; snacks; and more!
