This one-session class is for expectant parents who are scheduled for a planned cesarean delivery, at high risk for cesarean birth, desire a review of, or more detailed information on the C-section process.

The course includes an updated C-Section film. The instructors and participants discuss C-Section preparation, anesthesia, role of the support person, recovery, and postpartum adjustments. The class is best taken between 28 and 37 weeks of pregnancy. Appropriate for parents-to-be delivering at any Bay Area hospital.
