Meeting Description: The objectives of the Kit for New Parents training are: • To become familiar with the Revised Kit for New Parents. • To be able to effectively demonstrate how to utilize the Revised Kit for New Parents with parents and appropriate agencies. Start: 6:00 pm

The Lee y Serás Family Conversations Parent Workshops provide parents with an understanding of the skills their children need to become strong readers and learners. The workshops accomplish this through the use of material that acknowledges that Latino culture, traditions, practices, and everyday experiences support literacy development and prepare children for learning and life.
